In glorious weather yesterday we headed up to Richmond Park in London to see the Deer and also the Parakeets!! People don't like em, but I enjoy seeing them, although I acknowledge I don't have to live with them!! They are noisy!! Google Maps decided to send us to a gate that was shut, but we eventually arrived at the Sheen Gate Car Park!! We had a very enjoyable wander, amazing that it's so close to central London! Some pictures below!

Some more of Margie's pics of the Scenery
The first Deer we ran into was a herd of Fallow Deer, they are remarkably tame, I suppose they are just used to people |
Plenty of Stags about with impressive Racks |
Although some of the younger ones are a bit outgunned! |
We soon found some Red Deer |
Fallow Stag |
Possibly my favourite portrait of this youngster |
This was the most impressive Red Deer Stag we found I was quite glad he didn't stand up!! |
Next thing we were in a wood surrounded by the exotic, Parakeets!!
Margie suggested the Deer that discarded these Antlers must of been huge!😢😏Further evidence of her strange sense of humour, so strange she rarely laughs at my hilarious jokes!!😂 |

Some nice pics of the scenery from Margie!

Soon found some more Red Deer with a Jackdaw friend |
Plenty of Jays flying over carrying Acorns, though not this one! |
The Shard |
Not many small birds about, though with the throngs of people wandering about it wasn't a surprise, though nice to find a pair of Stonechat catching flies |

A bit of shagging going on!! |

All in all a very nice walk around, the Deer are very patient!!!
