Cuckmere Wander

Margie and I had a wander down the East side of Cuckmere Valley on Bank Holiday Monday, fairly late start meant it was pretty  quiet although, the roped off bit near the beach had a few Wheatears in it and about 30 Meadow Pipits, several Stonechats dotted about the route including a very confiding juvenile! Thought it was going to sit on my hand at one point!! I got my first Yellow Wagtails of the year, though they were miles away! A Hobby went belting through and there were a few Herons and Egrets knocking about, A displaying pair of Ravens finished off the walk back at the carpark! A few pics below!

This Horse's mane reminds me of me hair back in the day!!

Slightly closer Wheatear

All in all a pleasant way to spend a Bank Holiday Monday!
