The Garden was quite productive last weekend with several Chiffchaffs moving through, a flock of Long-tailed Tits, a Coal Tit, Blue and Great Tits and a male Great Spotted Woodpecker. Plenty of Goldfinches and House Sparrows as well. Some pics below, some taken through the window so not necessarily that sharp!

Chiffchaff, finding plenty of insects to eat in our large Hawthorn |

Youngster, getting it's red face we've had several fledges this summer with new young-uns being fed from May through to September |
Blue Tit, up to twelve at once this week. Couldn't get any pics of the Great Tits visiting! |
Our resident Squirrel, we have updated our feeders to prevent them, there are definitely two, eating all the seed, so far so good! |
Coal Tit, best shot I could manage as they zip about |
Sparrows soon got used to our fancy new bird bath |
Long-tailed Tits, occasional visitors, hopefully will be come more regular this winter |
Male Great Spotted Woodpecker, we had a Juvenile Female at the end of August |
Definitely, top dog in the garden, he even bullied the Starlings off the fat balls!! |
The trees and bushes we planted a few years ago are really starting to pay off now, providing food and shelter to plenty of birds!!
