So leaving the Osprey Center behind, still buzzing from the Pine Marten encounter we headed to Bwlch Nant yr Arian for the Red Kite feeding. Despite a road closure we made it before the two o'clock feeding time! For some reason they have shut the cafe, but they still feed the Kites, it seems strange as every time we've been the Cafe has been packed!!
It is obviously all about the Kites, but there was a male Goosander on the lake, just the one, last time there were five. More Gulls this time as well, some nice Lesser Black-backed Gulls. Hard to tell how many Kites there were, couple of hundred probably. I always think it's a bit dodge to concentrate so many Birds of Prey in a small area, do they really need it now they are established? It all feels a bit unnatural, but no denying the spectacle and it really gives a great photo opportunity! A few and I use the term in it's loosest possible sense, of our pics below!

It was pretty chilly in the wind but still highly enjoyable and I will probably need physiotherapy to repair my back with all the twisting and turning!!!
