An Hour on the Back Step

Our Garden is full of life at the moment, young Sparrows and Starlings. The hardest working Blue Tit in the world is back and forth to the nest box 20 times an hour, where we can hear the youngsters inside! But the big news is the Swifts are back!!!! Although sadly they remained stubbornly high, hopefully they will be down to reclaim their box in the next few days, luckily I think the Sparrows have fledged their youngsters so the anticipated "box war" shouldn't occur!

Hopefully they will drop lower in the coming weeks!

A bit of Glamour in the garden, we have approximately 6 Goldfinch visiting!

The boss is still about,Mr White-eye!!!!

The garden is only small, but left wild with a bit of help, we must be like an oasis in a desert! Very enjoyable hour or so!!
