Short post, yep day 9 was a washoutš¢!!! To be honest we were lucky with the weather on our trip, this was the only day where it was impossible to do much, most days were sunny/cloudy and windy!!
We did attempt a bit of a tour driving down through Trondra to Burra and although the scenery was nice even in the rain and we did see a few birds, notably some Snipe and Golden Plover it was fairly unpleasant, so we retreated back to Lerwick where we got damp looking for Jimmy Perez's house, not really sure if we found it or not!! The old harbour in Lerwick was quite nice though guess they need a pretty impressive damp course!!
