 Yesterday, having watched the Mighty Whites lose to Portsmouth, a combo of sloppy finishing, dodgy ref and a good performance from Pompey. We can't stuff it up again can we? 😱😱Lot's of Déjà vu from last season!😢😢😢 I decided to ease my sorrows with a local walk, heading down Bullfinch Lane in the hope of running into the Barn Owl, that performed so well a couple of weeks ago! No sign, but did find a couple of Yellowhammers, one of which posed ok! 

No sign of the Stonechats down the first diversion, though a Robin was singing

Couple of Mistle Thrushes as well, though distant

Sunsetting no sign of the Owl

Yellowhammer popped out again, but the light was going

Shame the Owl never reappeared though a local, said they'd seen it a couple of days previous so maybe still about! Think there were at least 3 Yellowhammers, but no singing, probably need an early morning visit to get a true picture of  what's about! Several Skylarks singing but pretty muted !!!
