Seaford Head Again!!

Fairly quiet morning wander around Seaford Head, started well enough with a Lesser Whitethroat at the top of Hope Gap and ended well enough with a Wheatear at the Dungheap, but apart from that was pretty much the usual suspects, from a wander down Hope Gap around to the Cuckmere, then back to the Golf Course and everywhere in between, with Blackcaps, Linnets, Goldfinches, Pied wagtails, Rock Pipits, Skylarks, Meadow Pipits, Chiffchaffs and a lot of Common Whitethroats which weren't here last time! I took the picture of the baby Rabbit for medicinal purposes only as Margie not well and thought it might cheer her up💝💞

As you can tell, missed sunrise this was the remnants

Baby Rabbit

Lesser Whitethroat, showed quite well and was singing loudly, best I could manage was these Silhouettes

Blackcaps played hard to get as well

Hiding or when out in the open, keeping the sun behind em!

Chiffchaff posed ok though

Didn't get many pics of the Common Whitethroats after the very showy ones on the local Patch (see last post) This one was about the most forthcoming, seems to have some kind of growth or may be a Tick on it's head!

Stonechats continue to show well

Pied Wagtails seen in several places

Plenty of Linnets about

This one joining the False Moustache club with the Whitethroat from Saturday😀

Several Goldfinch as well

Rock Pipits all along the cliff path from the Cuckmere to the Golf course

This one posed unbelievably well hence the surfeit of Pics 😁

Lots of Meadow Pipits about but they don't pose as well as their Rocky cousins!

The lone Wheatear, first on the fence by the Golf Course

Before being flushed to the Dungheap by a feisty Stonechat
