Holiday Day 6 Dawlish Warren

We decided to take a drive down to Dawlish Warren another reserve I'd heard of and wanted to visit, the weather looked better in the south and there had been a Wryneck reported the day before. We had a nice walk around, a beautiful coastal reserve, couldn't find the Wryneck but some nice Waders on the beach including a very friendly Sanderling probably the highlight. Margie got some pics of the scenery.

Love an empty beach

Not much offshore, but I managed to catch this Gannet in mid-dive!

After, we headed down the coast to Labrador Bay in the hope of a Cirl Bunting, did see a small flock of about 5 but they flew up off a stubble field and disappeared over a hedge, big flock of Linnets but couldn't really get any decent shots and we was both knackered so headed back to the hot tub!
