Staying Local

Something a bit different looked on the map picked a footpath near to us and give it a try!! First two, nowhere to park!!!😀😀But the third one, this side of Twineham produced a very pleasant walk, firstly  through a thin strip of Woodland, mainly Oaks, then open countryside, mainly Horse Paddocks and Fields. It was fairly quiet, highlight a single Wheatear, on a fence, my first of the Autumn. A Roe Deer, not sure who was more surprised me or the Deer, but I reacted first and got some pics before it bolted, was nice to see. We heard a Green Woodpecker and a Nuthatch but saw neither. On the walk back we lucked into a large flock of Tits and Warblers but in the foliage I got precisely zero pictures!! Long-tailed, Blue and Great Tits the bulk of it but also a good number of what Margie likes to call  Chiffalows. Mostly Chiffchaffs but I saw one defo Willow Warbler. But most were either or!!! Couldn't find anything more exciting but nice to go some where different!! Some of our pics below, Margie doing the heavy lifting on the Landscape, brace yaselves for a few Wheatear pics!!

Through the woods!
