Sunny Seaford

 Headed down to Seaford this morning in the hope for some migratory action. Plenty going on with Meadow Pipits, Chiffchaffs, Swallows and Housemartins on the move in big numbers. In fact was surrounded by the Pipits and the Hirundines the whole time with hundreds of each seen throughout the morning! There were also good numbers of Goldfinch and Linnets about as well, with a very large flock of Linnets on the crop planted for winter bird food opposite the Dungheap! 

Five Wheatears, a few Yellow Wagtails, a Raven and a Peregrine added a bit of quality to the quantity! Pictures of most below!

A short walk up the Cuckmere, was too muddy to go far, mainly Herons, Little Egrets, Curlews and a close encounter with a Fox

Swallows, were hundreds of these and Housemartins flying about the whole morning but I've given up trying to get pics of them flying and these were the only ones I saw perching

A lovely morning in glorious weather with loads of birds!! Could have done with something rare, but as you know I'm never happy!!!
