Rainy Day!

Back home in Sussex now😢, got some very hostile stares from our Sparrows, probably wondering why they ain't been fed for a week!! So after refilling the feeders for the entitled blighters😂 I'm  catching up with Blog posts this one is quite easy, as it was very rainy last Wednesday the 22nd, so we just had a wander round Tobermory, where I accidently bought 30 quid's worth of chocolate!!! Luckily it wasn't all retail therapy as I spotted an Otter swimming around in the harbour!!!

Whiskey Truffles and Squares, sadly the rest of the chocolate didn't last long enough for pics, though in my defence you don't get that much for £30, can recommend the Dark Chocolate Coffee Creams if you are ever in the shop!!

Mochas from the Chocolate Shop, very tasty not to sweet!

Good set of Gnashers on it!

Some one bit off more than he can chew!!

The rain started again, so we left the Otter to his fun, didn't come that close unfortunately, but cheered us up on a grey day. We had a drive down to Salen Pier with a view to looking over the Sea but the weather closed in again so we gave up and headed back to base, amazed to see a Ringtail Hen Harrier come flying past us in the howling gale, annoyingly by the time I reached a pull-in space it had been blown through out of sight at approximately 120mph😲. Weather forecast is better for the rest of the week fortunately!!

Margie stayed in the car to get this shot!! Can't say I blame her!!!

So even on a grey, rainy day on Mull you can still have an epic wildlife encounter!!!!
