Organic Fruit Loaf Sunday

 With Blizzards and allsorts forecast, although so far it's looking like a few flurries, decided to head for the kitchen and make a fruit loaf!! Had most of the ingredients in the cupboard although had to replace the dried Cranberries and Blueberries with Apricots and Sultanas, #first world problems 😂no hardship as I prefer them anyway!! Some of the main ingredients below.

Organic Flour

Put a bit extra of this in!!

Yep Marmalade I was surprised as well!!

So basically bung all the ingredients in the mixer and let the dough hook do it's work!

               Prowl the house while you wait for it to prove, having cleared up your mess first obviously😂

Leave for another 25 minutes, I know it takes forever right, bloody yeast!!

Swelled up again!!

Into the oven for 20 mins, nearly fell for the old fan oven trick again but remembered in time and got it out just in time, dissolve some sugar in water and boil, then when the loaf comes out of the oven give it a glaze!

Tasty as! Slightly under in the very center of the loaf, think due to me not adjusting the temperature for a fan oven but nothing a load of butter can't sort out!!! Margie had an extra slice so must have done something right!!🍞
