Not really a trip, Margie and I had a drive down to Newhaven to get a bit of fresh air. Unbelievably I got a Shag on the first day of the year, I usually have to wait until we are in holiday mode😂!! Wasn't a bad visit either, a Razorbill in the river mouth, a lightening quick Kingfisher, some very tame Turnstones and Rock Pipits, a Great Crested Grebe, three Fulmars out to Sea, I scoped a Purple Sandpiper on the East Pier, we were on the West Side and a Raven was being magnificent on the Cliff!
