Scotland 2025 Day 5 Into the Glens

06/05/2025

Today we decided to head inland and visit some of the Glens, namely Glen Moy and then Glen Doll, we were a bit restricted on walking with Margie still recovering from her worktop surfing injuries, but did manage a walk at Glen Doll, the scenery in both Glens was superb and a few good birds namely Tree Pipits and a  couple of Spotted Flycatchers were seen, though we couldn't find any Eagles or Grouse!! A few pics below!

A pretty good day, although avoiding the road closures, most of which weren't actually closed was a pain! The scenery more than made up for it! Bit disappointed not to get an Eagle, the Ranger said there were some Goldies in the area, but despite the seemingly perfect conditions we couldn't get one!! Have to try again, soon!!
