Margie and I had a very pleasant mid-morning walk on the South Downs, a loop east of the Bostal Road at the Sompting end, serenaded all the way around by Skylarks, Common Whitethroats, Linnets, Dunnocks and Corn Buntings, weather was a bit grey with a few drops of rain towards the end, couple of small flocks of Swallows going through the only sign of migration and loads of Cowslips which are always good to see. A few of the above posed ok although as usual the conditions weren't the best, not sure which conditions would be the best to be honest 😂 as i don't seem to get great pictures whatever they are😲 but I will keep using them as an excuse obvs!!!
