About Me

Paul E: 6 foot 6 with bulging biceps and a granite chin, a tousled mop of blond hair ,steely blue eyes stare out of a weathered face, is how I would like to look however Nature had other ideas and the reality is a folically challenged, basically unfit 58 year old with a bit of a belly and a second chin trying to get a foothold! I do however have blue eyes and have managed to get down to my BMI on a couple of occasions in the recent past, Hurrah!! I live in Sussex, with my long-suffering partner, Margie, who accompanies me on many of my adventures though she ain’t a fan of sea-watching!! I have 3 grown-up (LOL) Kids dotted around the country. My Birding is mainly in Sussex and surrounding counties with the occasional foray further afield. Birding holidays tend to be within the UK with the Scottish Islands favourite and regular visits to Wales. My UK bird list stands at 377 although purists would probably knock it down to 365!! This is also my world list!! I don’t get out much!! My other hobby is Cake-Making which I do with varying amounts of success on an occasional basis using Organic ingredients! That’s about as interesting as I get!! ��
