Last Sunday had a wander around Woodsmill, with a quick foray across the road. Very quiet, highlight was a Peregrine than put up a load of Gulls and 7 Buzzards as it flew in and sat on a Pylon. Later the Garden was invaded by a large flock of Blue Tits, maybe 30 birds, which also contained a few Long-tailed Tits and a couple of Chiffchaffs a few pics below
Peregrine Falcon
Common Buzzard
Peacock Butterfly
Red Admiral
Speckled Wood
Meadow Pipit, several in the fields
Linnet
Red Kites
Chiffchaff from the Garden
Long-tailed Tit
Oh wow that's amazing lot of birds in your garden! And l love the peregrine just perched there.
ReplyDeleteYes the local birds seemed swamped for a couple of minutes, then they were gone!!
